The Day The Earth Stood Still

The day the earth stood still,
I gripped your hand
and we jumped off the earth
into a void vacuum of nothingness.
We fell.
We fell.
We fell.

The day the earth stood still,
I gripped your hand
and we fell. And we landed.
We landed on a plush, soulful,
golden field. And there,
We bloomed.
We bloomed.
We bloomed.

The Bare Truth?

The fact that I am one day, going to die and leave this vessel of flesh does not scare me. What scares me is that I do not know what lies beyond. Where will I go? Will I cease to exist at all, reduced to nothing but dust and bones? Will my very being, my soul die along with me? Or is there a place for wandering souls like me?

But I, I am energy. My being is an undying, cosmic energy. I can neither be created nor destroyed. I am eternal. I am infinite. So I would like to believe that I, an energy, will fill up a once void vessel again and again.  With every death, I am renewed.
